William Seay Medal of Honor winner

Here is another diorama for William Seay another Medal of Honor winner. This ambush occurred in August 1968 just out side my base camp of Cu Chi. This was my last convoy before going home. Sgt Seay gave his life saving a lot of us that day. Even though he was shot several times he was able to take out several of the enemy before he was fatally wounded. I was driving the lead truck in this convoy. The ambushes usually only lasted for a few intense Min's., but this one lasted for over 1 hour. Because of this ambush the heavy gun trucks were conceived and saved many a driver and cargo in the future days of our commitment in Nam.

Animal,

I had not seen this one! Great depiction of the story letting others visualize the event. Thanks for posting.

Animal,

It's not everyday that you see a diorama of an event that the person who built it was actually a part of. That definately gives the diorama even more meaning. It's a very meaningful tribute to SGT Seay and those of you who were involved in this incident. Thanks for sharing it with us and thanks for serving.

James
