I really like both the dio's you've posted. Mabey it's the photo's or the modeling style but the scene seems to take on a "painted" look if that makes sense. I know of a model railroader who's work really did look like a canvas painting in photographs. I don't know how he did it but I loved the effect.

Nice to see this posted. It is compressed due to size constraints but it shows the Medal of Honor winner Dahl at his moment. As mentioned, this was done for the Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis.
