The ejector seat is not glued yet. Next step will be to glue the cockpit tube in and close the fuselage.

it is time for some color, not? Ok, white is not really a color, but you know what I mean.

OK, so first step was black primer

then a mottling with a quite dark grey

after that a quite light grey with a mask, that mask you can see at the upper left corner

and in the end some misted layers of an off white

so, was it worth it? not sure, i'm not finished yet, but most probably the last two steps woud be enough ...

One of these tried to eat me aboard USS Yorktown, CVS-10 in 2016! Beware the jet intake! :lol:
 
I'm surprised you are making this look so good. I have one but it has some warps and the plastic seems brittle. So the Hasegawa and Monogram kits look better to me. But under the paint it's amazing how much they can all look the same with a good builder.
