With this shipment, bought from Lucky Models, we see Trumpeter's modeling saw set in the back.
The sprue is marked Wave in English and Japanese and on the reverse side "Joint Project with Trumpeter" while the photo-etched stainless steel is marked only with Trumpeter.
Assembly is simple enough after cutting the parts off their frets and filing away tags. As you can see, four saws and a jig on the left.
Using the jig allows one to cut in at various depths, from 1 to 6 mm, by adding and combining the slugs.
While stainless steel and with very fine teeth, the blades will flex and even bend. I already bent the large blade and had to put it in a vise to straighten it out as much as I can.
I paid only $4.99 plus $0.70 shipping. Not a bad value indeed!
