Hello,
After a long period back on the road with a new project. I had the Trumpeter BR52 in stock for some years and bought some update sets from Voyager, Eduard, RB Models and LZ models. When everything I wanted to use was arrived I bought also a book from WWP BR52 train in detail and this book is a good reference for building this kit
I found out that there were a lot of differences between every BR 52 train, so I decided to follow my own road and build a train the way I like it.
The build starts with the frame and for the frame I will use the replacements from Voyager. Not al because I found out that the steam boiler won't fit.
As I said, the steam boiler doesn't fit well on the props so I had to made some changes, here the test pictures.
With steam boiler.
When I was busy with making washers with my punch tool, I had a problem, the tool is broken and I have to wait for a replacement.
Here the steam cylinders with some PE.
After finishing the steam cylinders I put more parts to the frame and started with some plumping.
I'm still busy with the plumping, I goed slow but steady, till next time!
