I have been reading a lot about the insanity that was the first world war recently "the great war" as it were . Perhaps the ultimate oxymoron. The sheer horror and size of the slaughter is beyond comprehension.
When I first got this kit I was pissed off as the trench was lower than the guys head , completely unrealistic . Anyway it ended up being a drunk guy trying to forget the horror. Nothing like the pristine image on the box.
I have done a few of these verlinden vignettes, now I think it is time to start to build my own bases.
