"The Skull Queen"

Now for something completely different. This is an 80MM piece who's idea/inspiration came from the throne in the "Snow White and the Huntsman" movie. Basically it's a combination of sculpting (Queen) with Apoxie Sculpt and Kneadatite, scratch building (throne) basswood and evergreen strips/rod and kit-bashing (statues and accessories) with craft parts from the Steampunk section at AC Moore. The banners and rug were made with thinly rolled out Apoxie Sculpt and "home made" decals. The skeleton on the back of the throne is a white metal figure I've had for a while but can't remember who produced it. All the painting was accomplished with basic Vallejo acrylics, Vallejo air and Tamiya acrylics. Cheers!
