Yes, they are very good. I went to a concert in the 1980s, I can't recall where but it was probably Madison Square Garden in New York city. I was in the FRONT ROW BABY! Anyway, the lad in the shorts was prancing about and then blew snot all over the people next to me!
:woohoo: :pinch:

Luckily, I wasn't hit so I kept a good three rows from then on! My favorite back then was Dirty Deeds.

The Americanization Of Emily

Here's a fantastic war movie from 1964 starring James Coburn, Julie Andrews and James Garner.

The Americanization of Emily

Here's part one

Give it a go and you won't be disappointed.

Well,

Thanks to my wife taking over my iPod (it started innocently with her asking that I load some of her music since she did not like my dinosaur, read 1980s, music), I had to look in my old computer's box and found a Dell Jukebox MP3 player. Windows Vista does nto support the Musicmatch software nor does it recognize the Dell MP3 player. While I could not decompile the Musicmatch software to rewrite some code, I was able to do so on my PC and got the Jukebox recognized!

One song that immediately made me think of this and the old thread is by The Divinyls. I saw them in concert in New York City and fought hard the temptation to rush the stage towards Chrissy Amphlett...

The song?

Filmed on another day, believe mE I looked to see if I was in the video!

Chrissy Amphlett's site:

Another oldie for me with the same effect:

In 1982, I remember trying so hard to get a radio station (92.3 WLIR) in Brooklyn, New York City. I finally had a rooftop FM antenna installed and got to hear the radio on my Proton receiver. It wasn't until my Nakamichi System One that I was able to get a clear signal!

The lead singer is/was Terri Nunn:

In the end, I am glad I found my Dinosaur! New headphones and it is FABULOUS with over 2000 songs already paid for!

While I get the valid message Marylin Manson makes, there is far too much profanity for this song to reach enough people whereby a difference can be made. I had to listen to the cleaned up version yet that one made no sense.

While no prude (I was in the US Navy and accustomed to all the swearing), I could not enjoy that video. Nice music, great message, but lyrics revealing a severely limited vocabulary.

Regards,
