Thanks Ya'll, I've been busy with the Bob Wills Fiddle Festival last weekend, then last night our choir & praise team, were featured at the 130th Hunt Baptist Annual Celebration. So I've been very busy, We sang our Hearts out and actually received applause, So this morning I tore into the Texas Midland Oil Tanker.

And I put the data on the Car, now I have to think about the tank top, this one is much larger around & my Rivet counter friend, has pointed that out already, critic's the world is full of them. why can't you say that looks very good ?? I'll paint the tank body better, where I removed details, also looking at the photo there is a strap around eack end of car and some rivets & seams that need to be added.

Ya gotta give rivet counters credit....They count stuff so, WE don't have to.

Seriously: Really like the work so far. :tomato My only question/quibble is: the dunnage/supports under the tank, they seem to be pretty hacked up? of course, if they are supposed to be that way , then they're perfect (I'm so easy to please :Hiay )

Well not intentional, I used Balsa Wood and Saturday I sawed into my very important middle Finger, You know the one used to salute people with, so in operating the saw and files the balsa broke very easily and I just tried to slip it by, I shudda Known ther'd be a eagle-eye out there. actually I liked the broke look as this is Narrow gauge and the equipment is always a little run down, not like your mainline high dollar/High profit Lines.

Sorry about your saluting digit. I agree narrow gage stuff would get used over and over and abused in the process, so yours is fine. As is the rest of your project

Yeah, the narrow gauge stuff were hacked up & strewn together from parts from 3-4 cars to make one. So, the hacked up dunnage gives it an added touch imho :drinks

If I could get a chance I would measure and have this tank craddle 3-D printed as like the photo, I think this style of, tank on flat car has been overlooked, but then again this RR is a ghost, and was never narrow gauge and was only a class 2 carrier. Most people have never heard of it.

Say, Did "we" get any more done on this beauty? :idonno
:popcorn :java :drinks all settled in for the long haul--get it? :woohoo: long haul=railroad.....never mind :facepalm
