Tamiya tape

Got some new Tamiya Tape with plastic sheeting yesterday and in case no one has seen any it is pretty neat. Its the medium tamiya tape with a plastic sheet already incorporated. Its width is 550mm. You can find it at Sprue Brothers or anywhere.

I can think of lots of great uses for that. (y) Perfect for masking some larger builds I have planned in the future.

That's cool.

I know with the wide Tamiya tape, more ends up stuck around my hands and in a ball on the shop floor than on the model. This would be much less frustrating.

I use saran wrap or whatever but this just seems handier. We'll see how well it works.

THAT is a neat idea! With Saran wrap, I end up throwing away more than using, so a lot of times I just take old zip-lock bag and cut 'em up, but this looks tons simpler! They also have a new 'curvy tape' that I am interested in getting too

Nice ideal with the Tamiya tape but if also your on the cheaper side ... your local paint store has had a similar product for years ... the tape may be a bit wide not sure ... Thanks for sharing James ... :salute (y)
