Tamiya Spit MKXVIe 1/32

I fought that set up for three days and finally just glued them on and filled the cracks. However, the engine looks real sharp Paddy. I would have never thought of doing those stubbs that way and the colors are spot on to my eye. So much for a Tamiya kit just falling together.

Chef says I made the Queen and all of FAA angry with me the way mine came out. LOL
So I guess Ill get that P-51 and see how mad I can make the 8th.
 
Here we are then, my interpretation of a post war Spit consigned to the drudgery of the gunnery range where RAF Volunteer reserves keep their hand in at weekends in a world that's move on to jets :)
