Got the Verlinden Zimm and Fenders...

And my figures...

Hoping to get the Miniart Farmhouse....can't find it anywhere domestic but I'll keep my hopes up

Had a day off sick yesterday so I had the chance to get some stuff started...
First off-- to get an idea of the out of box detail-

And the other side after I removed it all and applied the Verlinden Zimm...

And the rear-- with some pretty large gaps

Sooomewhere, I have the same kit with Verlinden Zimm applied, and yes, there are major gaps.

Yeah- the bottom is the only part in line where it's supposed to be :facepalm

I think I'll try filling in from the back so as to avoid messing with those zimm lines

I know this kits a bit old-- but I love this thing so far...course now it's time to start assembling the 100 links of track on each side

First up is the mortar assembly-- I am modeling the breech open...

And the interior weathered up....

And what I am most excited about-- these Master Box figures- German Elite Infantry....

And this guy has the chickens-- great detail here- even down to the grenades stuffed in the boots- hope he doesn't trip!

And as a comparison-- here is the Tamiya figure...not too shabby:

Cabbage Eggs and Chicken..have no clue what that would cook up.

But the tank is looking good.
