Whatcha think? Clean scheme to show off NMF. Same model with the UD antenna arrangement.

Did you order these already?

click me to buy...

They are MUCH sharper than the image suggests. Low resolution is used on their web site. Dry Transfers of the quality that Woody, of Archer Fine Transfers, recommended them to me.

Regards,

I got stencils from Barracuda, not sure how many schemes I can do with those, I'll check when I get home.

I'll have to get some when I get home. I have these sets for the 109, Spit , and 262. Awesome markings and very crisp. Well worth buying MP.
James

I also got these

I'm not clear if enough stencils are included with this for all five schemes offered on this sheet.

OK it's official, changing the scheme. Still 7th Fighter Command in the 20th Air Force

Long story but decals are going to be released on the scheme that I was doing. But not till November. The scheme I wanted to do is a bare scheme, really want to showcase NMF over nose art. When I picked Tallahassee Lassie I didn't know it was personalized on the other side.

What I wanted to do is a really clean scheme to showcase NMF. Can't find any info on this bird other than this picture so I'm safe to assume there was no nose art on the other side.

From what I can gather on the web the squadron ID Bands were painted in Hawaii and stayed with the aircraft as they were delivered to the forward bases. I guess I could have done the scheme as it would have looked after her paint job in Hawaii. Anywho...this is what i'm going with now.

A/C 4473639 46th FS, 21st FG

I'm assuming the blue is Insignia Blue. If not, someone correct me before I spray it!

And here I would have though a P-51D would have been a pretty straight up build... :fencing :fencing :fencing :popcorn

You know November isnt that far away. And you could always look at Ad Astra http://www.adastramasks.com/ to make you a mask and paint the markings.

James is right, November's not THAT far away and besides, you won't be out of the cockpit yet anyways! :D

Kevin usually has the in stock items shipped VERY quickly but the Canadian Postal Service is what is inconsistent (in my experience).

So, whatcha getting?
