I'm in! This kit comes with 2 cute little Messerschmitt models. I will only build the one, unless things go awry. The accompanying Bucket Car must also be done!

Sweet models makes kits for sale that don't have the cartoons cats and Yuki chan. I don't buy them because the box art is a large part of the fun to me. I can read none of the Japanese characters.

Box open! Let slip the dogs of Micro Model Madness!

Then again, Brengun makes a really nice resin Kubelwagen. The Sweet kit only comes with one set of "OTTO" decals in this scale.

Floquil RLM 78 below and Model Master RLM 79 above. A little bit of airplane only takes a little bit of paint!
Sweet makes very nice Microscopic Model Month airplane models! Fine detail and excellent fit.
Quite a contrast from Dad's 1/32 Mustang.
Thanks again for looking In!

Airbrush paint all done. An attempt was made to resurrect a jar of Floquil Gloss Chrome yellow. It failed. :(
Testors PLA Flat Yellow for the nose ID panel.

A study in Kubelwagen:

F-Toys in panzer yellow. Brengun in RLM 79 Sandgelb. Both are so cute it's almost painful!

Brengun plusses: Fine, scale thickness sidewalls and external rib details, speedometer detail folded top detail P/E for the windscreen with rearview mirror and steering wheel. Appropriately generous seats in this scale. 2 cute Kubel kits in each package.
Brengun minusses: Tires are finely cast resin and pain to paint (?!?) These are not the DAK Balloon style tires I hoped for. No real suspension or running gear detail. The doors don't open the right way. K-wagen doors hinge on the center pillar.

F-toys plusses: Pre-painted kit. Appropriate balloon tires for North Afrika. Fine details on the underside and suspension. (That no sane person would ever see.) Clear, one piece windscreen. The doors are molded properly. Tools molded on. The shovel anyway.
F-Toys detractions: Clunky, thick sidewalls and gauge cluster. Undersized seats. It came with a 1/144 ME-163B Komet and Kettenkraftrad kit I don't need. Vertical "somethings" on the windscreen mounts. No mirror.
No fun video to watch.

Care to speculate which "Flintstone Car" (thanks Honey!) will be selected?
