Stug III C/D and Sd.Kfz. 252

Okay pictures will come soon. Have played with the Sd.Kfz 252 a bit over the past day or so. I am wanting to paint the interior and after much thought figured it would be primer floor and Creme Weiss sides. I have been doing a bunch of research and now I am not sure. From pictures I have found it looks like the interior might have been Schwartz Grau. If you look at this colour pic youi can plainly see the Stug interior is Creme Weiss but the Sd.Kfz 252 does not seem to be.

The next 2 pics also make me think the interior is dark.

Anyone have any thoughts or an interior pic in colour or which will allow me to paint properly?

Okay I'm getting frustrated. Trying to research StuG. Abt. 186 and see if I can get some info on where when etc and maybe pictures. Nothing, nada zip. On the internet the only thing associated with my search are the decals. In books nothing. I've tried every search parameter I can think of. Then there is the trailer. Finding next to nothing on it either. The springs in front do not fit properly and so I want to know what they should look like especially where they attach to the axle. No luck. Very annoying.

I've seen a spring placement on something before, think it was some AGE stuff back in the USAF. Nothing big but maybe it was a two wheeler rig like this. Was it one of those "HI Pack" things? Never really knew what they did.

John, I think that is one on my list to get but not obtained yet. Looking through Thomas Anderson's Sturmartillerie Spearhead of the Infantry they skip StuG. Abt. 186. I'm thinking I will have to go with another unit although I have to wonder how the decals could be made if there is no proof of existence anywhere else.

I have the book, and since I am home early due to the storm I took a look. No StuG abt 186. Seems like a DML typo. Can you show me the unit symbol?

Its on the decals sheets I showed from Star on the previous page. I have to wait till they arrive to look. It kind of looks like StuG. Abt. 189. I wish I could blow it up more to see but it gets too pxilated.

Okay interior is almost all together. Primed and painted and now for detail work and weathering. See how that ends up.
