Weather channel showed this ^ several times today according to reports that I saw there were no injuries. And thank God for that!
This morning a guy in a mini cooper tailgated me most of the way down Rosewood in Cola, he seemed pissed but i didn't care, I was doing the posted speed limit with ICE on the street! Most of the trucks I saw (and mine) were doing what was needed to be done in this weather. It was the cars that were doing the stupid stuff.
To fast for conditions and tailgating are not your friends when there is ice on the road- I don't care how used to it you say you are.
Taking my 30 mile drive to Chapin tomorrow morning and i will be super cautious on the freeway.

We ended up w/ about 9" here. It snowed pretty hard this morning. Stopped snowing by about 1, and the high today at our apartment got to 42, so everything started melting, so that means its going to be even worse in the morning when it all refreezes tonight.
Our apartment complex hired someone to come in and plow the complex, and they did a horrible job of it, so getting in/out is almost as bad as it would have been if it was unplowed. I parked my truck at the top of the hill at the entrance to the complex, but after seeing what the road looks like outside the complex, I dont think I'm going to bother attempting to make it to work tomorrow. I probably wouldnt try to go in till at least noon, and by then its not really worth going in for 3 or 4 hours.
