Some old Monogram/Revell memories

Between Armor project now and I thought I'd share some of the aircraft I've done. Some of the old Monogram/Revell kits bring back some great memories.
I made them OOB and glued together with a smile of days gone by and of dog fights in the bedroom.

The P40B in Army Colors - I made a color mistake on the leading edge of the wings, I tried to cover it with fading.

The P51B - a old favorite that always came home from the Bedroom Battle Field.

From Ebay - The Revell Mig-21. back in the early days of models, this was one of my first. In the colors of the Soviet Acrobatic Squad

The Texan! a long time favorite...

The SBD - believe it or not, this is only the second time this kit was made by me. The first onehad issues and was promptly "shot down" in the battle of giant pillow.

That Texan sure is a great kit. Just finishing one up myself and for the price I recommend everybody trying one.

This great that you have been able to hold on to some of your early builds. All my childhood kits are buried in the old homesteads back yard.

thanks for the kind words guys!
Always get a nice complement here. even for average work compaired to what I see posted.

I salute everybody!

I've got a Devestator in the stash. I built it back when it came out. It didn't come out that well I believe it got shot down while on a mission too. I may just break it out the one I have now and give it a go. This is a very cool thread thanks for sharing it and that Texan looks great I might add.
