I figured I'd post this here. It is kind of a big deal for me.

I took Dora and several other models to my IPMS club's annual contest called Orangecon. She placed First in her category; the first time I ever placed first in any Southern California model contest!

Here she is:

I had a silver here in the Belgium IPMS Nationals this weekend with my Schienenwolf so i had a great weekend to :drinks

Thanks guys! That is definitely one award I am most excited about. Winning at Orangecon is almost as good as winning at the Nationals, given how stiff the competition is there. I'm so thrilled at finally placing First!


Chuck, I am so glad that you were able to see this in person that day. Knowing a Master like you got to see it and comment in person made bringing her all that more worthwhile, just like at the Nationals when Terry and others saw her.

Here's another one for the Trophy Case. I got this at the Antelope Valley Desert Classic contest. Dora took second place in Artillery:

More importantly, I was able to get feedback on what I missed and how I can make her better for the next contest. I'll be taking care of those things on Friday. I can't wait!
