Sherman in 1/16 scale.

Yeah, on these big builds, it is pretty much a necessary bit to remove the tracks in order to build them. The 251 track links were done such that the parts could press fit together and hold just fine. I have one link on my 251 tracks that is not glued so the tracks can be removed. It is a real pain to find the link.
I chased the press fit link on the P III..., so I know...haha.
This one is easy to see and I'm leaving the bent hook thats easy to grab onto till the very end!

Chipping away at it. Nothing exciting other than finally getting the tracks done...YAY!
The headlight guards in this kit proved to be a bit tricky.
I did drill out the bolt holes on the track fenders I'm guessing they were for the skirts? Also bent up the rear mud guards as well as the exhaust deflector.
Anyway, right now keeping 3 acres of yard and 7 acres of pasture knocked down is taking up bench time.

Looking good Tim!
Yeah, my yard has gotten a bit high. I told myself I would do it after work sometime this last week. That didn't happen. I have been getting my left thigh radiation zapped in the weekday mornings now for 6 weeks. That has amounted to 29 times so far. (no zap on Memorial day) I have 4 more next week then I am done. Thigh isn't too sore with the exception of a certain spot up high and it tends to feel like a cigarette coal poking me.
Anyway, by the time I have been getting home I am pretty much done in tired out. Wednesday I came home and just crashed for about 3 hours. Yeah just tired.
Maybe Sunday if the yard dries out from the rain today.
