Yeah, on these big builds, it is pretty much a necessary bit to remove the tracks in order to build them. The 251 track links were done such that the parts could press fit together and hold just fine. I have one link on my 251 tracks that is not glued so the tracks can be removed. It is a real pain to find the link.

I chased the press fit link on the P III..., so I know...haha.
This one is easy to see and I'm leaving the bent hook thats easy to grab onto till the very end!
