Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

thanks James :) It's very nice not to follow any plan, just go thrue the spares box and find things that fits and can be used as something completely different then they are!
And no one can say it's not correct for that year or model either hahaha

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Thanks for answering my question about cutting the sheets- usually I'll scribe and then use a chisel blade then sand. Always looking for the easier way- this is great!

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Now will somebody please tell me also how to cut sheets of styrene.

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Looking better already! How will you cap the exhaust tube ends?

Regards,

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Really dig the little bracket clamps you made. This is getting nicer... :woohoo:

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Thanks Saul and Bob!
Saul i will make some round styrene and put them inside the tube, not flush with the end a little bit in and then will the pipes coming out from each side :)
atleast that's the plan now, it can change.....

Making the interior, not so detailed because not much will be seen, just the basics.

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Thanks Dave & Dave :D
Added some personal equipment to the cabin and put the driver and co-driver together.

The equipment look huge but it's from dragon and in 1/35, the co-driver is from tamiyas opel blitz so it's a little smaller than normal figures, head from dragon, driver from zvezda's mercedes L4500.
