Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Added some small bits and pieces, found some nice leftovers and built the exhaust cover and added some armor-protection in the front.

Ok El Alamein campaign is done, now i must give this one a chance :hmmm
I scrapped the leg i was working on before, i will go with something more like a cat (that will be the nickname for this walker, Katze)
Here a pic of the main parts (this time i do all legs simultaneus :pinch: )

You also see the cat skeleton that i use for getting it right...

Start on the knee, this will be simple joints covered with plates or a tarp for protection against dust, this is a softskin and not a heavily armoured transporter (thats for later :D )

Another pic of the knee.

It will be one cylinder on each side of the leg, and then on the lower leg (not built yet) one or two more, hmmm... and then hoses to all that hydraulic... :bang head

Re: Sd.Kfz 30/4, Med. Infantry/Cargo/fuel transporter

Shoot, looks like it's ready for a pressure test. :popcorn

Thanks Terry :drinks
I made a change to the hydraulics, instead of having hoses (that can easily be damaged) i made the tubes go into the frame and out to the cylinders hidden in the bolt that holds the cyl. in place :coolio
and it is also alot easier than the other system and it looks good to me B)

Here you see that one of the rods broke when i bent it :bang head a little tamiya putty will take care of that problem, the other ones i heated a little bit before bending and then it was no problem :)
