Many of you are aware that in June 2011 I lost my teaching job. 
For the next 13 months I was unemployed. I could not get an interview worth a shit, and when I actually thought I had a job, OSHA decided that my 15 point veteran's preference wasn't enough and they went with someone else.
Last July, I took a job with the county as a Welfare Benefits Specialist. This was even more depressing than being unemployed... Seeing people who are able to work, live off the government and not even try to support themselves was maddening. I, being the pure asshole MoFo that I am, sent many, many cases of suspected abuse and fraud to the investigation department... They hated me, but I only had on case come back. Take that you lying sacks of _____!
I was broke, had sold off a significant portion of my beloved stash, hadn't finished a model in over a year, and my personal relationships were in peril... even the dog was mad at me!hmy:
Thursday, a week ago, I was recalled to the classroom... and it is looking good for next year too! :dance :dance
it is amazing what a little change, like doubling you weekly pay packet, will do!
