Never surrender :fencing but there are times when it is not unwise to pull back regroup and reorganize. A tactic which may well have the added bonus of leaving ones adversary to suffer the misconception that they have you on the run and will thereby develop a tidy degree of overconfidence in their tactical prowess which will inevitably lead to premature celebration and as such a loss of vigilance allowing one to overrun said adversaries position/advance with much less difficulty
