RED HOT OUTLAW-DONE

Re: RED HOT OUTLAW

Wet sanding with really fine grit, then bury them in clear. B) :drinks

Re: RED HOT OUTLAW

That would look great, but smoothing the lines first would be a good idea. B)

Well there's that, but I was thinking of adding an edge color to outline the flames.

:hmmm

Terry the Boyd cars that were red with flames had bright green pin strip/edge on them. Just a thought for you.

Your detail is looking great! :notworthy

Thanks Sherm!

Yeah that's what I was thinking.

Nice!

There's a cute story about the model kit. It seems when the engineers began measuring the real car to make the model, nothing added up. Literally nothing was square or symetrical. Seems Big Daddy never used any molds never measured never did any of that high falutin' engineering sh*&. He built cars, however he could, with whatever he had on hand.

I took a break from the engine and went to work on the frame and drive train. Got her up on the tires. Did some outlines on the flames and started detailing the dash gauges. Dry fitting the part to make sure things are lining up. Here are some pic's see what you think.
