Here comes the pics of the truck i just finnished.
It was ment as a gift to our son Rasmus when he was born, but as it is now it will stand in the cabinet as a memory of him instead.
There is alot of pics, if you have questions about something in the build, just ask, and i will try to answer.

And you and Veerle are both in my thoughts during this difficult time.

James

Thanks :) but it was alot of chrome to deal with on this one!
Me and Veerle wrote a litle message and we put it in the sleeping cabin before i closed it up, like a little time capsule.

nice looking big truck you got there. You did that beast mighty proud. Have you got a trailer in mind for it as well.I am saving those for a friend of mine who is an over the road guy himself who could appreciate the work better than I. Nice job none the less.

Dave W.

Thanks Dave, we had a dump trailer planned for it (filled with candy) but we save that one now for later.

Mats, I'm sorry to read what you went through but you really did a brilliant job on this one!

Mats, wonderfull tribute!
If was me, I couldn't ask for more.
I'm Praying for you and your wife.

A great Truck indeed, on of my favorites!
Witch type of colour you used? and varnish?

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Arturius
I used vallejo gunmetal grey as base and for this one i bought the Tamiya clear red in a spraycan, I liked the one in the bottle better, this one was a little thin and not so glossy as the blue you can see on my Daf truck https://www.modelersalliance.com/forum/lets-be-civil/89664-out-of-the-comfort-zone-and-enjoyed-it- .
Not so fond of the chrome parts, but it looks good when it's in place :)

There was alot of chrome on my ride too. At least you won't have to polish yours :)
