Just saw that a company called RP Models is coming out with a 1/35 Pegassus Bridge. That is just too cool. I cant find any more info yet so if anyone else does please post.

Everytime I think of this bridge I think also of the actor Richard Todd who played Major John Howard. Todd was actually with Howard when they assulted the bridge for the Normandy landings. Todd of course also played Guy Gibson in the Dam Busters.

I'll just go back to the end of the bar and have another...:drinks

It would be a big dio to get a glider in the field and the bridge, maybe you could do a shadow box and do a force perspective thing.

My guess is entire tables full of them.

I'm looking forward to it, it's a great subject and there's enough ref material to really make an accurate diorama.

:eek:hmy: :rotf

Brittish paratroopers we have a lot of and also the glider in 1/35 coming from master box soon, so what is stopping us from doing some really BIG dioramas! :)

I'm very happy we don't have that kind of mentality here!

I really hope they will bring out more in 1/35, it's nice to be able to use both planes vehicles and figures in a diorama.

Used to be a shop here in town where the owner was bound and determined and told customers that 1/32 scale and 1/35 scale vehicles were cmpatible in the same diorama. I had a 1/32 scale Revell M-3 Lee or Grant and a 1/35 scale Tamiya M-3 Grant and showed them to him to show the considerable difference in size between them.

I too would like to see that Master Box glider released. I see that the DC-3/C47 tow plance has disappeared from their in-progress pages.

I saw the Bronco British Airborne Jeep, trailer and figures kit in the local hobby shop the other day. It's $72.00! However it'd be a great addition to a 1/35 scale glider.

At least we are getting some 1/35 scale stuff that used t be available only in resin.

I'd really like to see some 1/35 scale rotary wing aircraft from the Vietnam Era get released in styrene.

Cheers

Which helicopter Peter? There already are UH-1 (B/C/D/H), AH-1G (conversion), OH-58, OH-6A, CH-47, OH-13, UH-34, and Mi-4. Not many are missing, only the H-21, H-53, HH-3, CH-54, and H-43. Any others?

Regards,
