P-61 Black Widow by Monogram/Revell

Great build. I am in the finishing stages of the same. It is the Revell 1:48 scale P-61A Times A Wastin. It is a straight build from the kit with a small amount of P.E. I am fairly satisfied with the finished product with the exception of the canopies. What is your secret? I use Hannat's or Eduards canopy masks and liquid mask. I will start with the interior color, then spay a primer, base coat and so on. At the end I will remove the mask. The tape, not so bad, the liquid mask on the other hand is a bitch. This will be no. 19. How do you get such a clear, clean canopy?
