What's the chance of my finding kits for some of these, if not all? Or maybe something close that I can do some scratch mods on.

will this do? It is a 1/32nd scale die cast model.

If so, it is on eBay:

Hmm...I've seen where folks have reworked die cast, but I don't think I'm up for that right now. Would love a kit or something.

But that Certificate of Authenticity is temping...

Well, you do have the larger 24/25th scales... there will will find plenty of ill fitting ancient kits that match the rustic look you want. Or go to HO (1/87th scale) but this is hard on the eyes.

No HO! Can't see riggin' a throttle cable in that scale.

MP, move up to 1/25th scale. There is an entire universe of kits like that in that scale.

Try this,

There are literally thousands of old kits out there.

Senior!

Thanks Poppy, I've seen a lot of those kits but can't seem to find the really old stuff like those 1920s trucks or even construction equipment.

The old Monogram Beer Wagon kit is a C cab truck, but loads of work to make stock looking. It's too late and my old brain isn't working right mow. let me sleep on it and I'll get you some info manyana.

Cool pictures!

I have yet to find any pre 1930's Chevrolet kits. There is some diecast out there. AMT does have Ford Model Ts with van bodies.

If you go with changing a Ford T into a Chevrolet. The things to note are Chevy fenders and wood wheels are close to "T". Chevrolet chassis has four sets of leaf springs and "modern" looking rear end housing. I think the chassis is longer than Ford. The Chevrolet four cylinder engine is the same size as Ford T but has over head valves and distributor. intake manifold is on the left side and also has a down draft carb. Revell has a closed cab Model A and with cutting and adding could be made into a Chevrolet cab

I will keep checking, by chance a resin comany could doing something.
