OK,I'm in(if that's OK?)

Hey Jerry, any chance if and when you reopen your business you might add ground pounder stuff? I'd go for a conversion to the gun if ever you did. Very cool work.

James, thanks for looking in buddy. I do have plans to release some stuff through Tigermodels for the German Arty. Here is the latest on my limber. Added a few more details and shot some primer on the beast.

Second horse done. The off side horses were rigged to ride in case the riden horses were tired or wounded/dead. Their sturrips were hooked onto the saddle in the meantime to keep them from banging against the animals' side. There are flies around too!
I think/hope that I am improving with each horse.

Jerry , ........ extremely cool stuff !!!

The limber is extraordinarily well done !!!

The tracing and rigging are second to none !!!

When this is done you must , .......... I mean must , package this for a build article here .

Question , ........ the last outside horse , ........... is he swatting flies , ........... or did he just fart ?

Just kidding , very well done out of the norm addition with the tail in action , ............ very cool visual !!!

Smallish up date. I have 4 horses about done and the first little dude about 95% done as well. I dry brushed some polly scale dirt on the fig to replicate the late war uniforms that had russian uniform material ground up in the erstatz uniform material the germans were reduced to using. The dry brushing left a sheen that I tried to tone down with MIG pigments but I am still not happy. It looks a lot more shiny in these pics though. What say ye?

I hope that I am still on the right track here and that I keep up the dedication on this never ending project!

I like it a lot! The poses show that the war is ending and it is not in their favor.

Regards,

Got some work done on this dude since I posted these last pics. Had to show this wonderfully sculpted head by Alpine,my new favorite figure guys.

Wow,Jerry!!!

It almost looks like you pulled out some real persons hair, and glued it
to the figures head!!! :woohoo:

Greetings,Ron.

Excellent stuff !!!

I sadly wasnt thinking and moved a figure yesterday with a greasy finger and left a sheen so I repainted with the base colour very very thinly almost of a wash consistancy and it did enough to get rid of the shine and still left the highlighting detail that I previously achieved, although you may have to get rid of the pigments on yours first as the paint may change the colour.

Thanks for looking in Andy and for taking the time to give a suggestion. I have also had chicken fingers a few times in the past LOL.
I will give your method a try.
