So I just saw this and slightly soiled myself :stinker :rotf It's even my favorite version of the Corsair as well. Not much into 1/32 but this might have to end up in the stash of doom.

...just impressive!...I remmenber that several and several years ago I made a 1/32 Corsair from Revell ;) ...it was one of my favourities :pilot

Now I know why that Trumpeter Corsair I wanted was out of stock. Will get the Tamiya one in a heartbeat. And a Birdcage version to boot :D

Still haven't seen any sprueshots of it yet. They claim it is set for a July release. Also there are people already complaining because it isn't what they wanted. Can't people ever just be happy :vmad
 
I refer to those folks by the generic name PAM, stands for Piss And Moan.

Lordy as much as I am not an aircraft guy, this one will come home to pappa. A Corsair, VF 17, birdcage? No brainer.

From looking at the drawings it appears that more versions are in the works due to the fuselage section behind the cockpit being separate.
 
I think i could be tempted but i think i will wait for the bubble top so i can do a Royal Navy version ;)
