My widdle wed wacer

I have the wheels on after shooting some of the suspension parts out into the cosmos. Thinking I had everything in the proper order and after about an hour fiddling around with the tie rod I found out that the top wont fit, I have no idea why.

the only movement is the steering but then it really need a front end alignment. The front tires splay out like a drunk rooster and the top just doesn't want to fit well. I will be done with it soon. No decals though because the ones I have are junk on paper.

When You get that one done Paul, you could sneek the 1/8 Lamborghini made by Poacher by the misses, I think I have one in stock I could get you a fair discount ... :rotf :rotf :rotf

The test cars were just red :drool

Well that thing is so kewl I don't think I could ... Let's see MSRP is about $850 ... That would be one heck of a discount ... :yipee :rotf

I checked every thing under the top cover and still I can not get it to set flush. The chrome plated wings were not as bad as anything plated by Revell or Monogram but I still don't like chrome plated parts. The steerable front end allows for a bunch of slop and the decals are not usable. b ut I dont know if I will go on any further with this one.

I do have my JPS Lotus though... :hmmm

Feelyour pain Paul. I remember a F40 kit a long time ago that caused me major headache. Turned out there was a support brace that the body was suppose to fit into that was like 2mm aft of where it should have been. Think I put a hammer to it to make it fit....:popcorn

It doesn't look all that bad Paul ... The chrome isn't as bad as some of the older kits .... I think you did a fine job on her ... Looks good ... How bout a motor shot ???

Just looking at this one Paul. Looks good so far. Could the top be warped a bit? You could try a little warm water treatment to see if that helps the fit better
