You could do a whole series of these maybe...is there an old car called a Corsair? I'm afraid I know more about planes than cars...

Nice paint job!

Yes Jeeves there are cars named Corsair

Phantom Corsair: http://www.carstyling.ru/resources/entries/3494/Phantom_Corsair_Six_Passenger_Coupe_1938_04.jpg

Lincoln Corsair: http://www.romerosportscars.talktalk.net/Corsair_Cut.jpg

Edsel Corsair: http://classiccardatabase.com/images/cars/1959-Edsel-Corsair-4-door-Hardtop.jpg

I didn't want to post the pics directly in here, cause I did not want to hijack this thread.

MLP Post away!

Hijacking is always allowed within the topics I post!

:woohoo:

Thanks for the comments folks.

Paint is Tamiya Silver Leaf spray for the main color, and plain old Testors square bottle enamel for everything else. I used Flat red, flat yellow, and OD.

That and yards of tape.

:eek:hmy:

Force had that car, or one very similar, up at the Speedway a few years ago. I got a glimpse of it while handling a call nearby. Good stuff there.

Here's where I am as of today:

Gloss coat.

Interior base coat. It will be something akin to OD and Neutral Gray.

Today was perfect for painting. 81 degrees, bright sun, and low humidity.

that is turning into one awesome looking project. And so neat going from one side of the force and going to the other side. Definitely not the dark side of the force, LOLOLOLOL!!!
