Mooooh

Tiny update,

My Lakenvelder is in her base colors of Vallejo. No highlights or shadows right now, because it will get some oils.
Well,'Missy' might be too skinny looking to be a real Lakenvelder cow,but hey...I like that 'camo scheme'. ;)
So now the real fun part of this can start;oils, highlights, shadows and blending. :)

Nice camo scheme Ron (y) What marking options are included in the kit? :hmmm By the look of the background of the picture we can expect a Milka Cow version soon?

Great job Ron, I think animals are hard to do, and you nailed it!! (y) (y)

Good idea Ron (y) the Super Schwere Milch Abteilung was a unit not many rivet counters know of, but you got the reference picture to prove the Milka cows existed (y)

More to come later.

You do realize, surely, that that particular camo scheme wasnt used after 42 when it became part of Battlegroup Bovine.

[the PAK 43...is another story]

Greetings,Ron.

 I couldn't agree more,Tom.

Calling this one done.
Used oils, pigments [dirt and a bit of crap remains] and a touch of gloss coat for the eyes and nose.
These animals can get dirty on meadow-land...almost as armor. ;)

The light area around the eyes are not the white color of the eyes,it's just light colored skin.[have seen Lakenvelders like that, just cant find good pictures on the net to show you]

These are the products I've used,it's not intended as a add,you may notice the bottle of pigments on the left,it's from a art supply hobby shop,...you dont HAVE to use the well known brands of pigments.
Sometimes they are cheaper AND of good quality.[just a tip folks].

The cow will come back in a dio together with my PAK 43[hope I can finish it]
