This morning I continued with the dry brushing. I noticed in a reference image that the sides of the chair seemed warmer
So I added US Field Drab to the German and Med Sea gray to brown it a little and went over the gray areas. The seat cushions were drybrushed with US Drab then highlighted with Iraqui Sand. The edges of the insrument panels were drybrushed with Silver Gray, then pure white. Finally, the buttons were topped with a little bubble of pure White, flow aide, and my tiniest brush

Wow! Look at that, so cool. 
@Heavens Eagle is referring to my hijacking showing the Blackhawks (of which everyone saw that I have two 1/144th scale kits by Dragon).This isn't a MMM build.

I FINALLY have been home for nearly a day and got to work on this. Today's episode continues with the cockpit, specifically the instrument panels. Since the helo will not have pilots in the seats I figured the screens would not be lit with graphics (decals) so after all of the drybrushing (same steps as previous) I colored the panel area with Molotow Chrome marker then Tamiya X-25 Clear Green. I did use the decals for the dials that I ''think" stay visible.
The rear panel (left) is finished. The one on the right shows the "before" and the left "after". The buttons are Vallejo Model color 70-883 Silver Grey, flow improver, Winsor Newton Series 7 #000 Round, and to steady my hand I breathe in, concentrate, purse my lips and blow out a long, slow and steady breath to control my heartbeat so my hand doesn't shake then with my highest magnifier glasses I apply paint hoping for the best. I had one black touch up is all! I called it a win!

Cockpit is done I think. I used Eduard seatbelts since I had them in my stash. All in all I am pleased so far! I added a dot of Gauzy clear over the dials.

A wee test fit. The rubberbands have only the slightest tension and everything meets perfectly without force.

The rotor shaft (?) went together nicely. According to another build of the same model the linkage is supposed to be set at 45 degrees and not facing forward per the instructions, so I did it that way.
The instructions also say this whole unit should be painted as steel. But, looking at this...
That doesn't seem to be the case.
After priming in black I drybrushed several different Vallejo acrylic metallic colors including steel, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, gunmetal gray, and chrome. I thought the technique of layering these metals gave a very worn sense of metal that rorates at high speed.
I then used Vallejo 70-894 Cam. Olive Green and drybrushed in random patterns the parts that would be painted. I then VERY lightly drybrushed Vallejo Metal Color Steel 77-712 along edges and the center of the large open flat area for highlights.
Hopefully it is a convincing look!

Your artist skills with paint are impressive Greg. I love the cockpit and the rotor head looks great as well.
