Wow! Love that cockpit decal set.
The Quinta Studio sets are extremely nice and fit the kit perfectly. I have used several so far and the only problem I have had is with the 1/32 scale seat belts cracking at the lap belt buckle joints where they have to bend over the sides of the seats. Still working on that problem and making progress on a solution.

Well, since the cockpit is so nice, there should be a way to SEE it. However, the kit clear plastic is only so-so. Thus I have undertaken some extreme measures to rectify the situation.

To remove those lines will require some light scraping work and more polishing on the inside. As it is they are partially removed already from the first polishing round. Then once I am satisfied it will get a Future dip and be allowed to dry. Once dry I will decide weather to open the doors or not.
In addition there is some framework in the section between the two crew and that will need to be added. Evergreen and stretched sprue to the rescue.

Got the extra lines from the previous post removed. Still debating on weather to open the hatches. Have it fully polished now and just dipped it in future after giving it a good wash off to remove the polishing compounds.
The Future dip really gave it the smooth look. I have it set up and covered and will check it out tomorrow night.

Also started working on the nose piece. Drilled the 4 gun holes that this one is going to have, then aligned them and opened them up for some small brass tubing to line them. Then will add some tiny gun barrel ends sticking out. Photos on that will be this weekend.

This is NOT going to make the finish line in time. The plane is really neat looking and has my interest, but it still needs a lot of work. While early on I was able to "MAKE" the seams work and fit, the top of the wing was not shaped correctly to match up with the engine nacelle. Thus there is a big glob of green filler on one side of it that is going to take quite a bit of work to tweak in. I don't think that they actually built a test shot of this thing as it has some glaring fit issues.
I spent a lot of time yesterday getting panel lines etched on the fuselage, the props painted, and the canopy detailed on the inside. Today I mounted the props on the nacelles, mounted the nacelles on the wings, more clean up and small parts added. Once the green glob is finished and the panel lines around it fixed then it will be paint time. As I have NO letters for 1/72 scale German aircraft, I am going to have to paint the unit makings. I will make a mask for the plane I am going to do up and spray the markings. I can use the kit decals for the crosses and swasty.

So here is where I am at.

I still have to build up the landing gear, make the gun barrels (out of brass) and add all the paint detailing. The prop blades are masked as they are supposed to be RLM 70 Black Green and the spinners are black. The Humbrol paint works, but it isn't the old Humbrol, and it sure isn't the good old Model Master from Testors.

As this isn't going to even reasonably finish for MMM, I will probably just shift it over to the Twins campaign and take it there. As my Ju88 is still quite a ways out, that makes more sense.

Edit
I intended to add this as this is the plane markings I am going to do.
