Better?

I know there's a lot of sand in the grouser box, there's a scene where Lulubelle takes a nose dive into some sand and you see the box absolutely covered in sand and it filtering off over the edges. The AlcladII Aqua clear flat probably was not the best choice in seal coats. Mineral spirits went right to it, it came off pretty well. I have some old Testors lacquer dullcoat. Y'all think that's the better seal coat?

Definitely looking better to my uneducated eyes Pup. :Drinks:

I'll let others speak to nuances. I'm terrible when it comes to weathering. 😅

I saw where Sprue Bro had WW2 US Tank Crew Sahara 1943 DEFDF35023 in stock so he's on the way. He doesn't look much like Bogart but he sure don't look like Jim Belushi, I'm not putting him on the base!

I sprayed a good flat coat of the Testors lacquer clear and have let it setup for a couple of days. Been doing some 1:1 scale stuff around the shed and house, not much modeling. Letting the chemicals work.
I looked at my Carolina Lee and feel like I got a good dusting of red clay that it would have had from around here. I need to do this here but I don't know if I"m at that point now or not.
Thoughts?
