Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

These came in awhile ago, just haven't had a chance to post them. I bought several different sets, they look pretty awesome.

These parts are crisply molded and well detailed. The packaging is designed to keep the parts away from sunlight, which hardens the material. T-Rex suggests priming the parts as soon as you open the package and storing them away from direct light. Pricing varies by set, but they sure look like a great alternative to PE clamps. I have a few more sets inbound from Lucky Model, I'll be sharing photos of them soon.

An impressive 1/1 scale acquisition! Front porch faces West? Beware the yellow-nosed Me-109's in Abbeville county!
Good for you and the Missus! :dude:

Are you going to have a room for your stuff? No more destination garage?
Well I don't have two garages to work out of but I do have 1.3 acers and a goat pin..no kidding... :stinker:
I've already staked out an office/work shop and Eric is already smokin' over our noxious fumes extraction system, Woo...maybe vent it out one of the chimneys? Yes I'm going to setup my hobby room in my work from home office in the same space.

I have developed a thing for WW1 armoured cars :geekon::smack:
Just got these over the last few months - plus some nice figures to go with them.

You'll love them all. I have all of CSMs kits except the Russian Lanchester and when I got the Italian car I ended up ordering another Lanchester because it has bonus decals for an Italian one. When I built the RR Armoured car I wrote to CSM and bought their tires for it because they look better so just a thought for you. The ICM Model Ts are nice also.

Well a complicated year just got more interesting.
My latest acquisition?

Our offer on this house was accepted. Closing on Jun 11. Needless to say my modeling time will be at a minimum now.
Moving to Due West SC, Due West of what you ask? Donalds SC....
Congratulations on the house, we really enjoy visiting Greenville just above you

Just ordered this beauty, with Renee's permission. Very Fire's 1/700 USS Louisiana, Montana class battleship. They were designed to go toe to toe with IJN battlewagons. Twelve 16" guns. These were designed to duke it out, unlike the Iowas which were designed to escort the Essex class carriers.

Ian, brilliant scores! I wish I could get them all in 1/72 scale. Only the Rolls is available in my scale.

Kenny, that is awesome! I look forward to seeing that one built.

Couple orders arrived last weekend. No kits (though there may be a couple on the way from Japan) this time, so just supplies and upgrade bits for future builds.

Found engine upgrades for the S-3 trio (US-3A, S-3A/B, ES-3A) on sale and decided to take advantage of it with the OT I've been working lately. Also got a couple bits to hopefully help whip the Tamiya F-15C into shape (detail is pretty sorry...especially the cockpit). I'm not fully convinced these will be enough...I may end up having to try to go full resin pit, though lord knows the hacking that would have to be involved as they are all for the Hasegawa & GWH kits. Hopefully this will dress things up enough along w/ a bang seat.

And some sticky stuff for working w/ PE & resin details. I've had better luck w/ an RC canopy glue (suspect its PVA based) than I have CA, so I'm looking forward to trying this stuff. Thanks Kenny!
