Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Yeah, it's definitely more than I need. But I had the option of 12 for $15 or 24 for $20. Sure, I'll double down for 30% more. I'll be set for quite a while, that's for sure.

Oh man, I need one of those Ostrich eggs Paul! I already am close to capacity on my L'eggs egg.

Chris, that is a great amount of Silly Putty; what a great deal! I love the weapons set too; I do need to pic up a few of those sets.

More figures this week...

Also won this one in an auction...

And with that first order, I was mistakenly sent a paint set (there's apparently another Mike Reeves in Louisiana)...I contacted the store owner about the mistake and they said to keep it...I've got a kit or two in the stash that'll work...

Wow, I wish I could get a "mistake" like that! My name is too uncommon though.

Nice scores Mike! I especially love the diorama base!

Well one of the hobby shops I have been buying from in Winnipeg got in a bunch of WNW kits on Friday. They were all gone by Saturday even though they were priced higher than usual. I managed to snag 2 more Abatros. One of them even has the decals of the Albie that frustrated my attempts to finish years ago. I've also been reading a lot of books lately and one of them really grabbed my attention.
Take These Men: Tank Warfare with the Desert Rats
This is a really good read and was awe inspiring to say the least. The author commanded A-9s, Honeys, and Grants. So I needed to go and get a Honey to build as I have the others. Cant wait to get into that while the book is fresh in my mind.

Sweet! Finally a Lear jet in 1/72 scale! I gotta get at least two of those. One of my good friends is married to Chanda Lear; heiress to the Lear Jet company. He'll be thrilled to see me build one of those.

I would love to do an Italian Hu-16 as well. Too bad they don't have them in 1//72 scale. And yeah, I remember that story too. Very sad.

James, nice scores, especially on those WnW kits. Congrats!

Went to visit my Brother in the Vancouver area the last couple days. Weather was miserable so what is a guy to do but go for a tour of the hobby shops. Vancouver has some nice ones. Anyway, Father's day presents to myself.

James, just out of curiosity which shop in Wpg do you deal with. I grew up there and go back often to visit family.
