Latest Acquisitions
Hey Mark! There is also a Delorean in my future that will have a bunch of aftermarket upgrades. I currently have about 4 more months of subscription packs to go on it. No pics at this point as I am doing with it like I did R2. Get the shipment, check the parts, put the parts away.
With the Delorean they have added a bunch of extended deals to add the railroad track and changes from the later movies. I will probably just build it as Version 1 and keep it simple. The parts that let the wheels flip down don't work all that well so 4 new parts to fix that. I ended up with the 50's white wall wheels, but they aren't all that good.
Aftermarket stuff for the Delorean are:
Carpet sets
Full trunk Liner with tools and goodies
A new Flux Capacitor that is accurate and lights correctly
Aftermarket license plates
A new Christmas tree that also lights up correctly
A tape player that works (kind of anyway)
White lettering that is correct for the tires
Some other little goodies that folks are working on but are not done yet.
Mods I am planning on top of that:
Replace/rebuild the door hinges with springs so they work correctly and don't break
Electric motors in the doors to work the windows
Replace the seats with some that look correct not plastic
Refinish the external panels to look like brushed stainless steel
Turn signals that work
High beams that work
Light switch that works and turns on running lights then headlights.
Instrument cluster with working gauge needles (I am going to try to do this, but will have to see)
