I decided to go swing by a couple used bookstores in town yesterday to see if I could drum up some possible reference material. I didn't find anything for a specific aircraft, but did find a couple broad references for about $6 a piece. Then upon arriving home there was a little box waiting by the door...the Academy sale order from SB. The F/A-18 is for my CVW-11 airwing build, while the 2 Russkies will add a little variety to the stash. Chuk may have been a bit influencial on the 21 purchase. Though after seeing the kit...I probably would've been better off getting one of the Eduard Weekend Edition kits. Oh well, it was cheap enough. A little CMK resin correction, it should still build out to a decent kit.

I built the Acadamy mig, the cockpit was a little sparse and could use an uplift but the rest of the kit was pretty good!

Well got some stuff over the past little while but just have not been posting. Maybe too much stress and being sick. Anyways this is not everything. Got a nice big package from Saul, some books, some PE instruments that Saul showed us from a company I had never heard of. Got some figures and then gave them away. Got some more kits online and another inexpensive but very nice airbrush. Although I ordered the same one it looks different. So here are some of the things I got.

Tim.

Megahobby is pretty good. Usually, orders over $100 have free shipping. I usually do not place an order that size. They have a great selection. Sometimes, they may limit how many of the same items you wish to purchase. For example,I wanted to buy two bottles of the MIG Ammo 4BO WW 2 Soviet green. They only allowed me to buy one. They may have had low stock on that.

The prices on the two models I bought were very hard to beat. The SU-76M was only $43 or so. The LAV 25 was just under $25. As with any mail order place.it always pays to shop around.
