Went out to the LHS to pick up a set of Deans connectors to make a pigtail for my car charger, while I was there I figured I'd pick up a couple tools as well. Turns out I had a discount voucher that was fixing to expire, so I went to browse the kits they had. I wasn't really excited about anything they had on the shelves for aircraft or autos, but curiosity had me looking at the ZSU more than once. On an experimental whim, I pulled the trigger. I've never really had an interest in modeling armor before...so this will be a bit of an adventure. It'll stay tucked away in the stash for now though, until a suitable GB pops up.

I paid more for shipping than the items at Freetime Hobbies:
This was only $1.95USD, so I got it for the Hawk and DESRON markings.
The rest is for whoever offers to cover postage:
Back row are 1/48th scale Tidewater Tillie (note that there is a small tear on the yellow surround of the national markings), and VA State Police.
Front row is the 72nd scale Tidewater Tillie and 72nd scale T26E1 markings.

Well today I got a few items. Some books one of which I will review and a Nieuport 28c with new cowling and seat and decals for Quentin Roosevelt.
And something totally different. Ever since I saw these I have wanted to get the set. I'm starting with Chester MacDuffee's Deep Sea Diving Suit and Chester MacDuffee.
This is hopefully what I will end up with when done.
If there is interest I will do a review.
