They are very soft and as you can see has some (okay a lot of) fluid on them and in the bag.

Let them dry out and do not use a chemical to clean them other than alcohol. The parts are a type of resin and should not be rubbery. If they are, return them.

In any case, take a photo as I would love to know what they represent.

Regards,

A couple shots for you Saul, I forgot to turn them over for and take one that way.

Did these parts harden fr you or ar they still soft?

The resin parts I got for my 1/48 scale CF-100 'CANUCK' never hardened nor did the maker/seller ever send me the replacement parts as he promised to do. Sometimes you get burned.

Good luck and cheers

Just came home from Hobby Day again and once more; I came back with more than I left with.

First of all, I went out and got two models I'd ordered some time ago. I finally could pay for them. These are the Toxso Models 1/72 scale SCUD-B Launchers:

Yes, there are two of the same model. I plan on making one Russian and one Iraqi.

Next, my friend Sean sold me this kit for $20.00. I'd been wanting one for some time. This is the Zvezda 1/72 scale Pe-8 Bomber:

Finally, Sean gave me this model of the 1/450 scale HMS Vanguard that he knew he wasn't going to build. This was a gift:

That's it for now. I don't know that I'll be getting anything more till next year, but at least I have a few more things to build.

Thanks Prop Duster! Maybe it will, but I kinda meant it as more of a "I don't expect I'll be buying any more" kinda tone since I'm not certain my income will allow it. I am hoping for a couple goodies, but since I have so few people who actually gift me models, It won't be much.

No worries; I have a ton of models in the queue to work on... (y)

Cool Stuff Mark. Saturday I drove to Lafayette to participate in a model display at the Hobbytown USA. Rommel and I had fun and made some new friends.

Hobbytown USA Show and Shine

Before I left I picked up some things. This is supposed to be a Metal Earth photoetch Captain America shield. Rommel decided some time Saturday night late to try his paw at putting it together.

And I also got Ian a Star Wars lightsaber wall light. It has 8 different colors to choose from.

Oh man, Kenny, tell Rommel that next time he has to buy his own and not to mess with Daddy's models. That lightsaber is so cool! I'm sure Ian is thrilled with it!

Thanks Luiz. I'm hoping to get started on one or both very soon.

Rommel knows now Mark. Saturday I finally got one of the Bondic pens. It is UV cured glue. A fellow modeler says he uses it to fill gaps.
