Nice hauls for Christmas guys. The only thing I got model-related for Christmas was a small Radio Shack tool kit that will help immensely. No models though for Christmas; my wife refuses to feed my habit. The only models I got for Christmas I had to buy from the Distressed Kit Auction; they have been shown above.

:blink :blink

OK maybe not THAT exact one... :woohoo:

I missed the 1:72 part :good:

Not sure what this is referring to?? :idonno It lists my favorite scale so it caught my attention....

My Secret Santa from another site got me these two:

This one was loaded with A/M goodies including a full resin and PE cockpit set in addition to some decals:

The other one, which is awesome all on it's own:

That Fat Guy finally whispered in the Bosses' ear loud enough this year and this was under the tree:

Shalom.

Got the Tamiya 1/35 Challenger 2 Desertized kit, the 35133 US Modern Army Infantry and 35266 Modern US Military Equipment and the 35121 US Infantry Weapons Set for Christmas.

Too bad I can't use some of the Tamiya 120 mm ammo I have for the Challenger 2. Challengers used two-piece ammo.

Cheers

I know Saul didn't give these figures such a good review but i will give them a try.

I would gladly have given these to you in return for any puppy, cat, or other animal from a figure set. As for this set, even the model used for the dog has an opinion:

Well, I received the new Academy Magach 6B Gal Batash and noticed that Sprues A, B, and C are all dated from 1990 (meaning they are the Tamiya M60 clone with motorization holes), E is from a later date when Academy released this kit with IDF features (including the Merkava tracks which another reviewer stated was new for this release).

Sprues K, L, and M are new.

Should I review it?

Regards,

Beutiful and crisp molding. You can see light through the doors. These will make a B model with its closed doors and notch. All the P-61 upgrades can be found here :

Now I guess I should restart this build again.

Yes, please review the kit. I`ve been wanting to build a Magach 6B for years and also a Magach 7 which has to be the penultimate developement of the M-60 series tank. However, until now the only one available was from Legends and I absolutely refuse to have any dealings whatsoever with Legends. Thus, I`m very interested in this new Academy Magaach 6B kit. Your review will be appreciated.

Cheers from Peter

A Secret Santa gift from SMA. I am really thinking of making this a US Army version. I found a Bison decal sheet on Ebay that has a 2nd armored division markings. The sheet shows the early one piece final drive assembly on it.

Now that I finally found my dang camera after getting home from Christmas I will post up my treasures.

IMG_7299.JPG

My brother actually bought these two for me. The Fatal Army Air Force Accidents book is volume 2 out of a three volume book. He found it at Goodwill of all places for 3 bucks. Normally it goes for 100. The other book is a new release that my cousin wrote. Not really had a chance to read it but from just glancing at it all I can say is don't buy it. Just dull and so far I've found probably 30 mistakes.

Both of these are from my secret santa on another site. Both of them are homeruns for me. Always loved the P-38 and have never even build a Spitfire before.

Picked this one up on Amazon. Still waiting for it to show up. But it should be fun to fly around the park.
