Saturday was the big model meet at the Lancaster museum, unfortunately I just finished a 12 hour shift and had to go back to work again that night so I didn't stop to tack any pics, but man were there ever some nice models. The one which stands out the most in my mind was the WWII Polish armoured Train in 1/35, if there are no kits for that then this was a scratch job and what a hell of a job it was. That's one thing I wish I would've been able to take a picture of.
Of course the other side of a model meet is the vendors tables :yipee , any way, so with my wife tagging along Mr. frugal here was scouring the tables for a good deal( and there were more then a few) on something he wanted figuring a $20 cap on purchases should keep the Queen smiling. Then on the second pass around the tables my wife pics up a box and goes "oh look, some horses, could you paint those for me?" Never mind the soldiers.........
$30 later
I have always wanted to pic up one of those UM kits but for some reason I could never bring myself to pull the trigger on one...now I got three

Finally! the elusive Hasegawa B3 variant (found in Japan) - and some goodies I've had for a while for it, the brass 75mm finally gets a home!
The Mk VIII came from Germany, the decals from Doug's Models in the good old US of A
All three items arrived well packed and quick, great service from all vendors.
Now guess what markings I will be doing!!

Went to San Diego for the Regional show and only picked up one model: a 1/72 scale P-3 Orion with JMSDF markings. Half considering making it a firebomber if I could find the decals for a decent price. Money is getting extremely tight, especially since I'm trying to put away enough to get to the Nationals.
I know, this thread is worthless without pics. My PC is broken again and back in the shop; my camera is broken; my phone does not have access to my wife's PC (which is where I'm posting from right now) and my whole computing life is in a shambles. Maybe in a few months things will get back to something resembling normal.

These are the only new parts for the kit:
It is a resin mantlet (Crusader tank I think) and decals.
The rest came from their Mk III (AF35153) and 35S52. I can post sprue shots of those.
I also got these in a trade:

The details are all very nice but some stuff is simply strange. Barrel halves with separate muzzle brake halves when it could've been done better, link and length tracks (Yeah!) with separate teeth to add (Boo!)... and the decals are plain.
