Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Well it's been nearly 30 years...geess..did I just say that?

Had to google it and it came back to me. M904 nose fuze and M905 tail fuze.

The long ones are daisy cutters fuses. They explode the weapon above ground level to clear it. The other fuse looks like a nose or tail. I didnt know there where 2 types, only had a basic famil course. Do they make USN bombs with the ablative coating also?

Sue me for being slow... This arrived on Wednesday, much to my wife's disbelief. Mailman came and left. She had a smug look since nothing was dropped off. Ten minutes later, another mail truck came by and rang the doorbell.

So there, honey...Booyah!

Oh, I am not done... another post coming up.

YGBSM!!!!

OK, you lost me...

Here is what came yesterday from a pretty smart aftermarket producer. Instead of telling me what they want to work on, they sent me the kit and asked me what needs fixing. I provide the tweaks list backed up with the references needed and in turn, I won't need to buy the base kit when they send the samples!

Regards,

Tell them a conversion to an A model to make a CP-121 Tracker, and maybe another conversion with turbo props. Just a thought.

"You Gotta Be S#@%& Me" was allegedly the reply of the EWO who was first told they would be flying SEAD missions, basically being fly paper for SAMs.

Raymond Chung, the owner of Kinetic Models, already stated that they plan to produce the complete series.

Wild Weasel, nice with the sharkmouth too/

Saul, I just picked up the Stoof, hope I didn't make a mistake

I didn't mean to imply this was a bad kit, a bad choice of words on my part  Purchased these Saturday from the lhs which has increased the selection of plastic kits they carry, and their prices were within a few dollars of online prices....factoring in shipping a dollr or two less per kit.

From Verlinden, two resin diorama bases, I have never attempted one of these so be prepared for questions when the time comes :idonno

nice selection there Tom and thanks for supporting your LHS. I now don't have any unless I am willing to drive a distance for mediocrity. Both of your Verlinden Production items are resin and should not pose any issues.

Stow the S2F. It is not a bad kit but I gave some nice ideas to that resin company. ;)

Regards,

Kinetic plans ot release the S-2T (turbo-propeller) version as it is used in Asia. So, look for something else. ;)

This is my plan:
