Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Here are my latest goodies.

Draw Decals 1/144 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 747-400 decals. Quality looks excellent, nice & crisp printing.

I picked this one up a few weeks ago, but never got around to getting a picture of it. My local Hobby Town had it on clearance 50% off, so I figured why not and picked it up.

While at the Atlanta figure show, I picked up a couple of books to help out with some future projects.

I have been looking for some photo's of the recon version of the ME 262 . They all had the wildest paint jobs around. Should be fun ! :D

Cheers, Christian B)

Yes Chris what book is that. Could you please give an ISBN? I have the UHU book coming so I can work on my Revel 1/32 kit. Cool stuff (y) (y) (y)

This is not the best ME 262 book that I have seen but as I said it has eight pages of color plates of unusual birds.

I can say the same for the HE 219. Probably not the best but it has some pictures I have never seen before

And in a fit of insanity I bought some stuff from a company I just heard of. Taurus Models makes some pretty cool stuff and so for my Fokker Eindekker I have spark plugs. For my numerous a/c with Mercedes engines I have valves and lifters, manifold nuts, spark plugs, and valves with lifters and timing gear.

OOPS forgot to take pics of the cockpit selector switches for the Gotha  .

Do tell! :coolio

Whacha think of it?

These are very very nicely done pieces. When I start my Eindecker the exhaust will help as the spark plugs molded on the kit are in the wrong place. The French engine has the plugs coming out the side of each cylinder while the German engine has the plug coming out the rear quarter at 45 degrees. The molding looks awesome, but will take pics and review as per Saul's request.

Its a nice little multimedia kit with resin and pe. After reading the reviews on this kit I am really
enamored with it and Mirage models.

Very cool kit Andy. I'd recommend the Nut and Bolts book for it as so many panels can be opened and the full engine is there. You'll love it.
