Just awful....when kits go wrong.

Trumpeter is supposed to be doing a 1/35th Ka-52, so that is something to look forward to. I also picked up their Kamov naval helicopter with the double rotors.
Damn! that 1/35th Hind looks just as good up close!
I'd like the 1/48 Helix, but I'm looking very hard at the "spinner" from Blade Runner as well as the Trumpeter 1/16 T-72, imagine a diorama with a 1/16 T-72 and 1/35 Hind together! The Hind is earmarked for an Afghanistan diorama down the track...

Yeah, I hear you cobber!
Aircraft are not my strong point, I'm mostly a vehicle builder, but I have a real soft spot for helicopters and I adore the Hind, I got to fly in one in Serbia/Bosnia a couple of times........LOL what I would give to own one or maybe a KA-52 Alligator LOL
If you can, get the AK book on the Hind, it is great, but sadly out of print

I flew in a Mil8 once when Malta Airways used them as a short haul ferry between Malta and Gozo.
The experience was shall we say 'interesting' !
They were rapidly taken out of service when Malta became part of the EU. (Along with all the vintage buses)
Tourists loved the old buses, but locals thought they were crap and glad to see a new fleet of Arriva buses replace them.

Well, nothin to be ashamed about showing us your efforts to clean up garbage, but you're doing pretty good. I commend you for stickin with it. It's kinda like some of my outside projects, I get halfway thru it and wonder why I started it, only to realize it's not gonna get done lookin at it, HA! Keep at it, you're doing good as far as I can see from here.

Ruck On, Bby!

Thanks for the support fellas, latest report...
It has gone from awful to OMFG....... put the canopy on it last night and what can I say? The fit was ghastly, had to resort to spot glue and tons of putty!
I took some photos but it is so ghastly, that I have seen three year old's do better!
Really questioning if I will keep modelling after this, aircraft anyway.....just stick with military and scifi, having a close look at the "spinner car" from "Bladerunner", you would have to light that up as it is mandatory LOL!
