Jagdpanzer 38[t] 1/48 scale

Wow, 1/48 scale mud ! What will they think of next ? :D

I sure like that Ron . cammo and paint looks really nice for the scale (y)

Cheers, Christian B)

Yes people,

Ive seen live Ron at work, "torturing" himself with this tiny thingy.
For example, realize that the dozens of small "arrows" are 1 mm (1/25 inch) maximum ?
And still they have to be the right shape and on the right spot !

Curious for the complete scene !
Go on Ron

Some minor things to do on the JP38[t] 'Hetzer',so I started on the base and groundwork.
In this case I use a piece of insolationplate that is easy to cut and sand, and it's light weighted.

The groundwork is cheap acrylicpaint pre-colored wallfiller, the final colors will be done later as will be my pigment work.

The ditch the JP38 is in will be covered in artificial water.

A bit of an experiment with the computerscreen and a forrest background, for the fun of it and to let you see how this type of camo could work.
The Germans called the ambushscheme also 'Licht und Schatten Tarnung',translated as lights and shades camo.

Next time some more groundwork, vegetation and some more mud on the tracks,....and adding the water fx to the scene.
