Info needed on GO 244

phantom II

Master at Arms
Hi Guys. As some of you may know, I am building a GO 244 (See the Kursk campaign ).

Anyhow, I have no reference for the engine exhaust pipes or the antenna wires.

If anyone has a picture or drawing of these items please share them.

Regards, Christian B)

I wish I had more info Chris. Dont know if these will help.

I am guessing the antenna wire vees from the mast to each vert stab tip.
Sorry I couldnt help more Chris.

Thanks James and Saul . That's the best picture I have myself. Guess I'll have to make the assumptions about the antennae and the barely visible exhaust.

This is not a very accurate build anyway . Thank you :)

Looking at some of the GO 242 pictures I just realized how much the shape resembles a Hawker Venom ( from the bottom )

Cheers, Christian B)

Here's another view, the engines are Gnome-Rhone 14 M's like the HS 129's so the exhaust looks to be very similar, and the antenna appears to be more the exception then the rule :D

Thanks, good picture ! Actually , that one has some projections I have not seen before .I have to think they're antennas as well. Odd positions though. :S
